Project
Yet many lack the tools, support, or space to make that leap. UpSpace was born from that very challenge. It responds to a growing need for schools to teach sustainability, embrace creativity, and build bridges across countries and cultures. It offers an opportunity to rethink not only what we teach but how we teach, making learning more relevant, hands-on, and connected to real life.
Practical Activities
Upcycling workshops, local urban regeneration labs, teacher trainings, and co-designed student curricula.
Digital Tools
Through digital tools and face-to-face engagement, UpSpace brings learning to life in both physical and virtual spaces.
European Journey
A collaboration bringing together schools, non-profit organisations, and tech teams from four different countries.
Funded by the Erasmus+ programme, UpSpace is more than just a project, it's a European education journey that brings together schools, non-profit organisations, and a tech team from four different countries, a collaborative space where sustainability, creativity, and innovation meet to transform learning.
We believe that education can lead the green transition. That's why UpSpace is rooted in the idea of learning by doing: turning classrooms into labs for sustainable thinking, upcycling, digital exploration, and community engagement. Whether it's a student planting a tree in a schoolyard or a teacher co-designing a lesson plan with colleagues abroad, every action counts.
The project will offer a dynamic digital platform filled with hands-on resources, support European-wide teacher training, and create opportunities for students to connect learning with real-world challenges. From rethinking how we use urban spaces to integrating digital tools in everyday lessons, UpSpace is about practical solutions and fresh ideas.
Our Goal is Simple: To Push Change
We're building a new vision of education that is sustainable, collaborative, and creative, where teachers feel empowered and students are ready to shape the future.
